Still life arrangements are curated from foliage + flowers, found + fossicked objects + family treasures … a magpie collection.
All botanic material is picked locally – mainly from their own garden. Their photographs are a local + seasonal record. Nothing purchased, refrigerated, freighted or genetically modified.
They find beauty in weeds + seeds, buttons + bones and draw on their exhaustive collection of flotsam, utilising natural light wherever possible as they track the sun through their studio throughout the day.
